Guide: create a champions program

Community Management
October 6, 2023

Champions programs are a strategic way to partner with your most passionate and engaged customers to achieve your organization's goals. They are a structured way to recognize and reward your champions for their contributions, while also providing them with the resources and support they need to be even more successful.

Champions are typically individuals who have a deep understanding of your product or service, and who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with others. They may be active members of your community forum, or they may regularly create and share content about your product on social media or their own blogs. Champions are also often the first to try new features and provide feedback, and they can be invaluable partners in helping you to improve your product or service.

By investing in a champions program, you can:

  • Increase customer engagement and satisfaction. Champions are more likely to be engaged with your product or service, and they are also more likely to be satisfied customers. They are also more likely to recommend your product or service to others.
  • Boost brand awareness and reputation. Champions can help to spread the word about your product or service to their networks, and they can also help to build a positive reputation for your brand.
  • Gather valuable feedback and insights. Champions can provide you with valuable feedback and insights on your product or service, which can help you to make better decisions about how to improve it.
  • Accelerate product adoption and growth. Champions can help to accelerate the adoption of your product or service by promoting it to their networks and by providing support and guidance to new users.

By creating and nurturing a champions program, you can help teams across your entire organization achieve their goals and build a stronger community around your product or service.
